Austin, TX and Washington, D.C. – November 27, 2019 – Wi-Fi Alliance® congratulates Julius Knapp, Chief of the Office of Engineering and Technology, Federal Communications Commission (FCC), on the announcement of his retirement. Julie’s distinguished career at the FCC includes many accomplishments, not the least of which is his contribution towards the regulatory framework that has enabled Wi-Fi®. We wish Julie much joy and happiness in the next chapter of his life.
