Wi-Fi Alliance® welcomes 6 GHz decision in Chile

Austin, Texas and Washington, D.C. – October 22, 2020 – Wi-Fi Alliance® congratulates the Chilean Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications on the decision to allow introduction of Wi-Fi® in the 5.925-7.125 GHz band. With this decision, Chile becomes the first country in Latin America to enable broadband wireless connectivity solutions delivered by next generation Wi-Fi technologies, such as Wi-Fi 6E, to its citizens.
